Star WKU Outfielder Now A Yankee

Jake Sanford spent two years at Nebraska before being recruited by Western Kentucky where he lead Conference USA in home runs, RBI and batting average and was named a second-team all-American. In June he was selected by the New York Yankees in the third round of the Major League Baseball draft and immediately got to work, heading straight to orientation and pre-minicamp in Tampa, FL.
